::: NOVEMBER UPDATE :::
Wow, what a crazy few months! I’m really looking forward to having the time to show you all of my photos and share the stories. A million shows since August, it’s now November and I just had my second day off. Trip out.
I’m working on some things today and will head off for some shows with Deerhoof starting tomorrow, then I’m off to Europe again.
For now all I have to offer is this amazing free lp, Remix Projection. I did an open call for people to remix my record and these are all of the results. So incredible!

Tour has started off incredible! Me and my friend/ roadie Rory have spent our day off in Flagstaff chilling in the hail that’s been falling throughout the day! Tomorrow morning we are excited to head off towards Denver!
The new album comes out next week but I have some copies that I am selling now on this tour. It is a special limited run of it that includes special artwork along with a bonus disc of remixes. On top of that I have a limited run button + sticker set along with a book of my artwork (also included is the song Trees which I composed for the LA opening of the Joy Division film Control) that is limited to only 50 copies. There are also brand new hand screened shirts and some of the older records too… I encourage everyone if they like the performance to take a look and buy some of it.. touring isn’t necessarily getting cheaper, or easier, and every penny counts.

And here are some more of the tour dates, a few things have changed, the big one being I AM NOT playing fuck yeah fest anymore… there were some financial problems and it got moved to one day. They offered to bring me out for the Saturday but I couldn’t cancel the chicago show. Regardless I am playing the Smell at the end of September. The new LP, Islands Of Ayle, is mixed, matered and off to the press!!! It will be released early September 2008 and will be followed by a world tour! Check out the tour dates in the shows section!

The new lp is pretty much finished. Major update on that later this month. Till then I have lots of stuff in the works including some cdrs, remixes, videos and tours (im even going back to australia!).
Until then hold tight. I’m also playing some shows with Urxed and Car Clutch in May.

I never play locally, but have a gig coming up soon. The ratio is about one bay area show per every two years… so probably not another until 2009! haha.
Hawnay Troof is also playing SXSW. One show officially at the Upset The Rhythm showcase and the other at one of Todd P’s shows.

Working on the new album. Mixing is next week! Should be out and followed by a long as tour in the summer! There is a show March 1st at Edinburg Castle. This is technically 21+ BUT it’s easy to sneak in. I have been really busy since Dollar And Deed came out. It took me around the world six times. Some of these shows or places I get asked about on a regular basis. I decided to do a chronicle of the whole tour which is currently up at the Hawnay Troof Myspace blog.
Wrapping up the epic Dollar And Deed tour this weekend with an east coast tour with High Places and Lucky Dragons! Check out the shows/ tour section.

Currently raging through parts of Europe with Stereo Total!!! The tour is beyond! If you would like to come or see the dates check the shows section. Also in transition towards completion of the new album. Hopfully wrap it up in December, after I take a short trip to New York with High Places. Tour dates TBD.

Things are insane right now! I’m currently working on the new HT album, due out early 2008. It is INSANE! Also rumored to be collaborating with Barr for a single in the near future. I also have some awesome shows coming up in the TX, AZ, SOCA areas! Check out my shows page!
